“As the fire heats the cable, the cable weakens to a point where it loses its strength, and that’s where the collapse occurred.” “That weight of 16 tons is attached by a cable,” said Joseph Pfeifer, first deputy commissioner for the Fire Department of New York. The crane’s arm, which was carrying a 16-ton load of concrete, dangled before breaking off. Photos and videos on social media show flames bursting from the crane hundreds of feet above 10th Avenue at 41st Street. The crane was operating 45 stories up when its engine compartment caught fire at around 7:25 a.m., authorities said. “As you can see from the debris on the street, this could have been much worse,” the Democrat said at a news conference, noting that the street at that hour of the morning is often filled with pedestrians, cars and buses. Several people suffered minor injuries in the collapse, but no one died, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said. If I go to /Users//Twitch/Minecraft/Install/ and search for '. However, I have managed to narrow down what file it is likely downloading every time (maybe). The launcher decides to download files every time it is opened, even if that's 20 times a day.ģ Completely close all instances of the launcher.ĭoing some looking around, I can tell you that my CurseForge system (That's literally everything involving it) is from before Overwolf acquired it, so it's still under the Twitch folder in the Users folder. The launcher should have all prepared files ready to boot up Java Minecraft every time I want to play, and no update has been issued to the game, or the launcher. Simply launching a fresh version of a Forge based Java Minecraft instance for the first time (As in, the first time the launcher was opened since it was last closed), the launcher will proceed to download a ~20-21MB file every single time, unless the launcher is left open between instances of actually clicking the 'PLAY' button.
